HP has officially presented its new two-in-one convertible Android PC to the Italian press as well.
Its name is HP SlateBook x2 and it will arrive in all Italian stores starting from July.
Its unique feature is the detachable keyboard dock, which instantly transforms this Android PC into a practical tablet.
Regarding the detailed technical specifications, the available processor is an Nvidia Tegra 4, which works with 2 GB of RAM.
The operating system is, as already mentioned, Android, version 4.2 Jelly Bean.
There are two cameras available, but the highlight is the screen: a 10.1-inch FHD touchscreen, offering 25.65 centimeters of diagonal screen space, with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels.

Autonomy, both in PC mode and tablet mode, is guaranteed by two batteries: the keyboard dock also features a second battery, thus extending its usage time.
As for storage possibilities, the SlateBook x2 offers eMMC up to 32 GB and – for multimedia content and the playback of music, movies, and photos – DTS Sound+ Solution.
Naturally, the device can be connected to a Google account, providing access to all apps and features of the Google Play Store.
The price of the HP SlateBook x2 is 499 euros, including VAT.
