After delays and postponements, the official denial has arrived regarding the upcoming launch of the Android 2.2 tablet **LG Optimus Tab** by **LG Electronics**. The Korean company prefers to wait longer, aiming to release a tablet with **Android 3.0**.
Following the launch of Samsung’s tablet, persistent rumors suggested an imminent release from LG. However, after weeks of speculation, LG Electronics itself has clarified the situation, stating that Android 2.2 is definitively not the right solution for their tablet. Currently, they are developing a product with a more advanced, mature, and above all, more reliable Android version, which appears to be **Android Gingerbread**.
The concerns surrounding **Android 2.2 Froyo** are well-known, with even Google expressing similar views. LG has thus opted for a forward-thinking approach, postponing its tablet’s release in favor of new solutions, without excessive concern for the increasingly dynamic tablet market competition.
