Google Chrome 10: beta available for download, all the new features

The beta version of Google Chrome 10 is ready for download. The new version of Google’s browser promises even more speed-focused browsing experiences.

Google has announced the release of Google Chrome 10 beta, summarizing the browser update’s characteristics with the symbolic phrase “faster than rabbits“.
Speed: if Google’s algorithm principle holds true, it’s evident that the same must be done for Google products, and primarily for the browser.
Initial tests highlight a 66% increase in speed for Chrome 10 beta’s V8 JavaScript engine compared to the previous released version; inversely, CPU usage drops significantly: a clear – 80%.
All this is very evident during video playback, although this specific improvement is actually due to the development of a feature specifically related to hardware acceleration for video.
The interface has also been changed: settings management is now handled within a browser tab, “consolidating” functions into a single window, without the need to open a second one.
Another new feature: it’s possible to synchronize passwords, favorites, various extensions, and bookmarks across multiple PCs, provided – of course – that all this data is saved beforehand.
With these premises, it’s easy to imagine that Google Chrome 10 Beta could easily gain new users, especially since the competition (the final version of Firefox 4) is slow to keep pace, as its release has been further postponed. We recall that, in a recent publication on browser usage, Google Chrome marked a significant leap forward in its adoption.
