Here are the features and the price of the Fujifilm X20, a camera recently launched by Fujifilm and soon to be available for sale.
Fujifilm has just unveiled its new camera, the Fujifilm X20. This camera boasts an elegant and lightweight design while housing a series of high-quality and premium components internally.
The sensor is newly developed: it’s the X-Trans CMOS II, with 12 million pixels and a 2/3” size, which allows for significant noise reduction compared to the previous model – the Fujifilm X10 – from which the X20 draws inspiration. The processor has also been improved, being an EXR Processor II.
Autofocus is very fast: just 0.06 seconds thanks to Intelligent Hybrid AF. As for the image capture functions, it features the Advanced Optical Viewfinder with a transparent LCD panel and the bright FUJINON 4x manual zoom lens with F2-2.8 aperture.
Framing, results, and functions can be controlled via the 2.8-inch, 460,000-pixel monitor, which offers high contrast.
It’s also possible to shoot Full HD video (60fps) with manual focus, for high-quality footage; it’s no coincidence that the camera body features an input for a stereo microphone (an accessory not included in the sales package but available for optional purchase).
The Focus Peak Highlight function is noteworthy, allowing users to highlight high-contrast areas of the subject, ensuring precise focusing directly on the monitor.
Many advanced filters are available: from POP color to Toy Camera, including the brand new Soft Focus and Low Key.
The Fujifilm X20 will be available starting from February 2012 in two colors: all black or black/silver.
The price of the Fujifilm X20 is €549.99 including VAT, as recommended by the company.
