The Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic is an analog instant film camera recently presented by Fujifilm: here is the price and its main features.
For years now, digital cameras have dominated the photography market. However, from time to time, some companies focus on a niche but peculiar product, perhaps to liven up the sector.
This is the case for Fujifilm, which, surprisingly, presented the new Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic a few days ago, a camera with a retro feel, being an analog model.
Its design evokes models from years past: everything has been meticulously crafted.
What draws the most attention, however, is the fact that we are talking about an analog camera that uses instant film in Mini format (film size: 86mm×54mm). Therefore, the development of the photos taken is immediate, while still allowing for graphic elaborations before confirming the print.
Graphic effects, text, frames, etc., can indeed be added.
Regarding the technical specifications, the lens is retractable, with 2 components and 2 elements (f=60mm, F=12.7).
The focus is motorized, and the electronic shutter is programmed (1.8-1/400 sec); the real-image viewfinder is 0.37x, with a subject centering mark and parallax correction for macro shooting.
The flash features various modes (from exclusion to automatic mode), and everything can be controlled via the LCD screen.
Finally, battery life is ensured by a NP-45A lithium-ion battery.
The price of the Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic is 149 euros.
Regarding instant film, available for purchase on Amazon for example, a double pack of 10 sheets each costs around 25 euros.
