Asus Transformer Pad Prime has just been unveiled and is already positioning itself to become a perfect mini gaming station for gamers. Here’s an overview of its key features and the price of the Asus Transformer Pad Prime.
The future of Asus also lies in its tablets, which have proven to be quite convincing and well-equipped to date.
The brand new Asus Transformer Pad Prime is no exception, and in fact, it introduces some truly noteworthy innovations, particularly for gamers.
First, it’s important to note that its operating system is Android 4.0, making it the very first tablet to adopt the Ice Cream Sandwich version.
Regarding the processor, it features an Nvidia Tegra 3 , and again, this represents a first, for the same reason as the operating system.
The screen is 10.1 inches, which currently appears to be the most widely used large-format standard across all manufacturers. Specifically, the resolution is 1280×800 pixels, it uses Gorilla Glass, and incorporates Super IPS+ technology for decidedly fluid results.
There are two cameras: the main one is 9 megapixels with an LED flash, autofocus, and the capability to record Full HD 1080p videos. The second camera is located on the front and has 1.2 megapixels.
In terms of memory, the RAM is 1 GB, while the internal storage is 32 GB, further expandable with SD cards. Additionally, 8 GB of free cloud storage is available on Asus WebStorage.
The image fluidity is surprising, making this tablet a valuable resource for those who love to game, even in 3D, on the go.
However, there is likely one drawback: the Asus Transformer Pad Prime does not come with a 3G module, meaning connectivity is only possible via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
To facilitate using the tablet as a quasi-workstation, an optional keyboard-docking accessory can be connected.
The price of the Asus Transformer Pad Prime appears to be confirmed at 599 euros.
