Twitter News: Linear Conversations, Easier to Follow

Twitter conversations become less “dispersive” thanks to a very recent innovation that aligns user replies.

Twitter allows for very rapid communication between users, even more so since the ability to send messages between non-followers has been extended.
However, starting a conversation on Twitter and being able to follow it “at a glance” has not always been so simple and intuitive, due to the strictly chronological ordering of tweets shown in your timeline.
Today’s news concerns a decisive change made precisely in this regard, which allows for easier following not only of conversations but also of specific topics of interest.
In fact, you just need to click on the new option that will appear – “View other replies” – to be able to easily follow the entire flow of public messages exchanged between two or more users.
Everything will therefore follow a true line (understood exactly as a graphic sign, precisely to give a sense of continuity), bringing order to the numerous tweets that fill the timeline and often “pile up” even in a few seconds, making it difficult to follow conversations fluidly and without interruption.

By clicking on “View other replies”, the Twitter system will also provide a comprehensive view, highlighting the content that the algorithm deems to be the best or most relevant.
At the moment, the new feature has been officially launched by the Twitter staff – who have explicitly presented its characteristics before full integration – only on the twitter.com platform.
The applications for mobile platforms have not yet been enriched in this regard, but the upgrade in this sense will undoubtedly happen in the coming weeks.
