Apple Music, new music streaming platform unveiled

Apple has officially unveiled Apple Music, the new music streaming platform.

As precisely predicted, Apple has finally unveiled the news regarding its new services for music purchasing and streaming.
It is called Apple Music and will, in effect, enhance and expand what iTunes has offered over the years, essentially built upon three main pillars.
Meanwhile, with the full expansion of social networks, Connect is launched: it is Apple Music’s social project, based on a network of contacts that allows fans and buyers to establish a dialogue with their favorite artists.
Then there’s the “Radio” section: in addition to offering what’s already available on iTunes Radio, this innovation sees the birth of a true radio station named Beats 1. DJs and speakers will alternate throughout the day and night for specific programming, schedules, interviews, news, and global premieres.
And finally, “Apple Music”: this is the core of the new platform and consists precisely in the streaming of music, all on demand. Exactly what happens on Spotify which, it can be said without fear of contradiction, in this sector now represents the benchmark, as well as the competitor to beat.
Apple has planned a monthly subscription for $9.99, thus providing access to a catalog of 30 million music tracks, always available.
Apple emphasizes the importance of accessibility over ownership: what we want, always available via streaming.

It is promised that there will be no advertising or any kind of interruptions; it is also promised that, after the launch on the Apple device ecosystem, Apple Music will also arrive as an app for Android. In this specific case, we are looking at a sort of actual revolution.
We will not have to wait long to discover the entire catalog and all the potential of Apple’s new streaming and on-demand music platform: during the presentation event, the official launch date for Apple users was announced.
Apple Music will be available starting next June 30th, while no certain date has yet been officially announced for the Android app.
