In the digital age and with the purchase of ebooks, here comes the possibility to have the author’s digital autograph: Apple presents it.
The increasingly thriving ebook market is also evolving in “collateral” aspects: Apple has indeed announced a welcome innovation.
From today it will be possible to request and receive the digital autograph of the author whose ebook you have purchased.
Everything will be managed through a dedicated application available only on the App Store and therefore downloadable for iPad and iPhone.
Once the ebook is purchased and the autograph requested – when available – the user will receive their digital copy, with a blank page immediately after the cover.
On this page, you will receive the digital sheet which will feature the autograph of the author of interest.
Everything will be validated by the iBooks Author system, through which the author’s signature will necessarily pass, in order to prevent the circulation of potential forgeries.
The author themselves will therefore be able to send the digital autograph at any time, using a messaging system provided by Apple or via Wi-Fi.
Naturally, in addition to the signature, you could even receive a dedication: everything will be at the discretion of the person who wrote the book.
Definitely a unique initiative that allows for personalization and enables ebook buyers to have a less “cold” and standard product.
