Typically, with the release of new operating systems, news of bugs multiplies: iOS 7 is no exception.
So, after discussing the iOS 7 bug that allows making calls with the screen locked, here comes a new criticism, this time not based on strictly technical mechanisms but on personal perceptions.
According to an article in the newspaper “The Guardian“, some users have begun to complain of dizziness and nausea while using devices equipped with iOS 7.
The blame is attributed to the new animations and the zoom function on the screen: the motion effects of the brand new operating system would therefore bother some particularly sensitive individuals.
Apple, having acknowledged the reports from users showing such symptoms, has nevertheless sought to remedy the situation by suggesting changing a specific setting in the device’s menu.
It will be enough to modify the “Reduce Motion” option to limit movements and animations, at least concerning parallax and the home screen appearance to some extent.

The sliding and zoom effect, however, persists in some cases, particularly in the appearance of folders and apps.
As there is no concrete solution to the problem yet, Apple secondarily suggests trying to limit the use of folders.
These are merely “palliative cures,” so to speak.
At least the company has acknowledged the situation pending any further suggestions or updates that can alleviate the nausea and dizziness for the most sensitive users.
