BlackBerry Leap arrives on Italian store shelves: here are its features and price.
New release in the world of smartphones, with the arrival of BlackBerry Leap in our stores. This device is mainly characterized by providing its users with a high level of security and privacy.
This is possible thanks to a system that, first of all, has natively available “defenses” against the most common malware and against the unfortunate loss of personal data.
As for the actual communication, BlackBerry Leap uses a module for encrypting exchanged data.
Regarding the technical specifications, this smartphone runs on the new BlackBerry 10 OS operating system, version 10.3.1. The processor is a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus, supported by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory (expandable with a microSD card up to a maximum of 128 GB).
The display is 5 inches HD type, with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels; very large and very bright.
There are two cameras: the main one is 8 megapixels, with an LED Flash and AutoFocus system. The secondary one is 2 megapixels. Essential but high-performing.
Two features promise to make a clear difference in terms of productivity, considering that this BlackBerry device is also primarily designed for work.
First, the presence of the “intelligent” virtual keyboard that can memorize frequently used words, phrases, and terms, suggesting them at the opportune moment, saving time.
However, another detail of great importance is the battery life in full use.
BlackBerry Leap is equipped with a 2800 mAH battery which, combined with the company’s energy-saving systems, allows up to 25 hours of use, even intensive use.
Despite all these far from trivial features, BlackBerry Leap has a very affordable price: 299 euros, VAT included.
