Sony has just launched a video and at the same time the official presentation regarding the release of Sony Xperia ZR.
This is a new smartphone that will be commercialized in the coming weeks, placed in the high-end price range, as in the United States it will be sold for just over 600 dollars, according to the latest previews.
The first peculiarity that strikes is undoubtedly the fact of learning that Sony Xperia ZR can also work in water: it is in fact possible to shoot videos and take photos at a maximum depth of 1.5 meters. The resistance is tested for immersion of up to 30 minutes, in fresh water.
As for the technical characteristics, we start with the operating system: it is Android version 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
The processor mounted is a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro with Adreno 320 GPU, supported by 2 GB of RAM.
The display, resistant to dust and scratches, is 4.6 inches with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels: a screen large enough to review photos and videos taken with the 13-megapixel camera, with an integrated Exmor RS sensor.
A lot of attention has been paid to the video capabilities, since this smartphone benefits from BRAVIA technologies.
The battery is 2300 mAh, with Stamina technology that allows saving residual energy from the battery.
