Nokia has unveiled its new project, Nokia Lumia 925: here is the retail price, release date, and features.
Nokia returns to the smartphone world with a new product, just unveiled.
It’s called the Nokia Lumia 925 and takes inspiration from its predecessor, the Nokia Lumia 920, so in this case too, the focus on photo and video capabilities has been quite high.
The first difference compared to models already released is the body: metal is used, which, in addition to providing more robustness, adds a touch of style and elegance to the device. If desired, it will also be possible to change the phone’s look from time to time, thanks to the covers – available for separate purchase – in red, yellow, white, and black.
The operating system will be Windows Phone 8, with a 1.5 GHz Dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of internal storage.
The main camera is a PureView 8.7 MP with optical image stabilization, autofocus, high-powered short-pulse dual LED flash, the most advanced lens technology, 1080p HD video at 30 fps with optical image stabilization.
The screen is a 4.5-inch AMOLED WXGA (1280×768), made of 2.25D sculpted Gorilla 2 glass and ClearBlack technology. The touch screen is super sensitive, so much so that it is responsive to the use of nails and gloves.
The battery is 2000 mAh and can be recharged both conventionally (with a charger) and wirelessly: this latter option is supported by accessory covers.
Among the natively available services, the flagship products from Nokia are worth noting: free global HERE Maps and HERE Drive+ for maps, and Nokia Music for unlimited streaming of free music playlists.
Nokia Lumia 925 will arrive in Italy and Europe with Vodafone starting in June, at a price of approximately 469 euros.
