Here is a list – probably still provisional – of the first smartphones that will receive the update to Android 6 Marshmallow.
After announcing the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, users of the green robot are waiting to know the availability of the OS for their own devices.
In this regard, for a few days now, a table has been circulating online listing models – from various manufacturers – that will start receiving the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the coming weeks.
The information – released by PhoneArena – reportedly comes from Asian sources, more precisely from China, but it is still unofficial or, at best, partially incomplete speculation.
Although the list appears quite plausible, it should be noted that the list is missing some devices for which, on the other hand, their respective manufacturers have already announced the availability of Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the near future.
This is the case, for example, of Sony, which has already officially announced the rollout for the Sony Xperia Z5; however, this device is not mentioned in the list we are about to share.
Therefore, it is likely that this list is provisional and will be updated with new models in the coming days.
Here is the list of smartphones that will receive the Marshmallow update:
- Samsung: Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy A8, Galaxy A7, Galaxy A5, Galaxy A3, and the Galaxy E Series smartphones.

Regarding the timelines, it is important to emphasize that no dates, not even indicative ones, have been released at all.
