The new Windows 10 Mobile operating system should be available starting in December 2015.
News is on the horizon from Microsoft, concerning its smartphone and tablet division.
It seems that Redmond’s headquarters are ready for the release of Windows 10 Mobile, the new operating system scheduled for launch.
There is no official communication, and it’s important to state this from the outset. However, a specific circumstance has led to the understanding that Windows 10 Mobile will reach devices based on Microsoft’s operating system in December.
On the official Lumia devices page on Facebook, a user indeed posted a question: when would a system update be available for devices such as the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640xl.
The team managing the page responded that the rollout is scheduled for December.
Therefore, although no press release has been disseminated, the answer has still come from official sources.
There is a possibility that the launch will be set even a couple of weeks earlier, considering that the official debut of Windows 10 Mobile will likely coincide with the presentation and sale of the new Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL devices.
At present, however, no news has yet been received regarding any releases for developers only or for small groups of testers.
Certainly, the core structure of Microsoft’s new operating system for smartphones is mostly ready: it’s a matter of addressing various fixes before moving on to the official release in the coming weeks.
