Today we are reviewing a very interesting application called Pushbullet. This fantastic app offers the ability to transmit images, links, and various types of files from one device to another. If you frequently need to perform these types of operations, Pushbullet is the tool you’ve been looking for.
Installing and launching the application is very simple. Just download it for free from the Play Store or the App Store, log in (even using Google+ or Facebook), and download the plugin for your browser (we tested it with Chrome). Additionally, Pushbullet also allows you to send SMS messages directly from your PC or tablet – convenient, right? Now let’s look at the functionality in detail.
Installing the Plugin on Chrome:
First, you’ll need to install the Pushbullet plugin on your browser. At this point, as you can see from the following image, clicking on the application’s icon, located at the top right, will open the plugin menu. The plugin consists of several simple sections, and the first visible screen displays three buttons: Push, SMS, and Notifications. Furthermore, at the bottom right, there are three more buttons to choose whether to send Notes, Links, or Files. Simply enter the note, link, or an image and click Push to transmit everything to your smartphone.
The following images show respectively how to send an SMS and the incoming notifications menu.

Another convenience provided by the plugin is the ability to initiate the transmission command to your smartphone for images, files, or links with just a right-click of the mouse. Using the same operation, you can also open a new browsing tab to display, for example, only the selected image.
