- Uses image processing to electronically compensate for camera shake when Movie Options is set to 1080/30p, 1080/60p, 1080/25p, or 1080/50p.
- When used underwater, the angle of view (the area visible in the frame) is reduced.
- Equivalent to protection class 8 (IPX8) of IEC/JIS (based on Nikon’s test conditions). The camera can be used at a depth of up to 10m for 60 minutes at a time.
- Internal tests have demonstrated shock resistance in accordance with MIL-STD 810F Method 516.5.
- Operation has been tested and approved at temperatures between -10°C and 40°C on land and between 0°C and 40°C underwater.
- Equivalent to protection class 6 (IP6X) of IEC/JIS (based on Nikon’s test conditions)
- The waterproofing of the WP-AA1 underwater housing is equivalent to protection class 8 (IPX8) of JIS/IEC and has been verified to be free of leaks when used at depths up to 40m for 30 minutes at a time.
