Nikon Coolpix P330: Known Features and Fewer Pixels

The Nikon Coolpix P330 has fewer pixels than its “colleagues” but at the same time features a larger sensor: here are all the specifications.

Coming soon, the new Nikon Coolpix P330 camera is expected in stores in the coming weeks.
The price of the Nikon Coolpix P330 for Italy is not yet known, but it can be said that in the United States this camera will be sold for approximately $380, just to provide context on the price range for this new product.
However, its technical specifications have been officially announced, which, first and foremost, highlight a reduction in pixels compared to what might have been expected: the sensor is indeed a 12.2-megapixel CMOS, instead of 16 as previously thought. The hypothesis was based on the fact that the Nikon Coolpix P330 is essentially the successor to the P310, making the comparison natural.
However, a substantial improvement has been made to the optical zoom: it now features a 5x stabilized NIKKOR f/1.8 lens that easily covers the equivalent focal lengths of 24-120mm.
Regarding sensitivity, the ISO range is from 100 to 3200, with an expansion to 12800 ISO equivalent.

Also noteworthy is the ability to shoot video: the camera offers Full HD (1080/60i) video recording at 60, 50, 30, or 25fps.
Interesting is the ability to directly handle RAW format and the option for rapid shooting of up to 10 images captured at full resolution, all viewable on the 3-inch LCD display.
An internal GPS module can also be used to geolocate shots and footage.
All of this is available in white or black body colors, all contained within a weight of 200 grams (103x58x32 mm).
