LG is reportedly preparing to launch the new LG G Flex, a curved smartphone, within a month. Only photos have leaked, awaiting official news.
Just a few days ago, there was talk of the upcoming release of a curved design smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Round.
It has been known for several months that LG is also working on the development of displays with this characteristic feature, after having applied this technology to larger surfaces such as those of televisions.
Well, the news is circulating now – still unconfirmed by the company – according to which, in the coming weeks, LG will also launch its first smartphone with a curved screen.
Its name should be LG G Flex and it could initially be released only on the Asian market.
More precisely, it is anticipated to go on sale primarily in South Korea.
According to renderings that have circulated on various hi-tech information portals, the LG G Flex should be equipped with a 6-inch screen which – unlike its competitor – will have a slightly different design, specifically studied to follow the curve of the face, surprisingly even more curved than the Samsung Galaxy Round.
From some images leaked online, it is possible to note the absence of side buttons which, perhaps, might have been placed on the back instead: this, in fact, seems to present a slight bulge.
It is not possible to say more: there are no other rumors reporting more specific technical details.
Certainly, if the release is indeed to happen by November, other previews and official technical sheets will begin to circulate shortly, which we will not fail to cover.
