Huawei Honor 7 makes its debut in our country too: price and features officially announced.
Over the past few weeks, anticipation surrounding the probable Italian release of Huawei’s new top-of-the-line model has greatly increased.
The company indeed promised a lot: persistent rumors spoke of a model with good features, however offered at a very interesting price.
The expectations have been repaid: in fact, Huawei Honor 7 has been officially announced with a view to its release in our country as well.
It must be said right away that Huawei Honor 7 runs on the Android 5 Lollipop operating system, but it seems it will very soon receive the update to the brand new OS Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The smartphone is made up of a decidedly interesting technological heart: the processor is a HiSilicon Kirin 935, therefore a 64-bit octa-core with a clock speed of 2.2 GHz. The supporting RAM is 3 GB, while the natively available internal memory is 16 GB, expandable via microSD card up to a maximum of 128 GB.
As for the display, it has a diagonal of 5.2 inches, IPS type, and a resolution of 1,080×1,920 pixels.
The photographic compartment is also quite surprising, with a main camera of 20 megapixels, consisting of a Sony IMX230 sensor, autofocus system, and dual LED flash.
The front camera – the secondary one, therefore – is instead 8 megapixels and is also equipped with a flash, again of the LED type.
Below the rear camera, furthermore, there is the fingerprint reader: a novelty in the sector, as far as its placement on the device is concerned. Competitor companies have so far placed this detail on the front of the device, but Huawei is betting on this novelty, believing that the reader can be handled more easily even when holding the smartphone with one hand.
Two more technical details: the battery is 3100 mAh and in terms of connectivity, it includes modules for Bluetooth 4.1 LE, Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/nb/ac), and 4G LTE networks.
Despite this respectable equipment, the price of the Huawei Honor 7 is medium-low. This is learned from the newly opened official Huawei store: it is priced at 349 euros. However, the price drops to 299 euros these days, as a launch promotion for pre-ordering the Huawei Honor 7.
