The new Huawei Ascend G526, a smartphone with a low-cost price and good general features, has been on sale in Italy for a few days.
In view of the shopping season mostly reserved for Christmas gifts, the new smartphone from the Chinese company Huawei has arrived in electronics and mobile phone stores in Italy, a low-cost model with good performance.
This is the new Huawei Ascend G526, currently available in a single color: black.
The operating system on which the Huawei Ascend G526 runs is Android, version 4.1 Jelly Bean with a personalized interface with Emotion UI 1.5.
Regarding the device’s core, we find a 1.2 GHz dual-core Cortex A5 processor with 1 GB of RAM.
The internal storage available natively is only 4 GB, with the possibility of expansion via microSD card up to a maximum of an additional 32 GB.
So far, it can be stated that this smartphone is positioned in the mid-range, certainly a step above entry-level products.
As for the rest, the screen is 4.5 inches, with a photographic compartment consisting of a 5-megapixel main camera and a 0.3-megapixel secondary front camera, perhaps too minimal.
Regarding connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and 4G modules are present, allowing navigation – where coverage exists – on ultra-fast LTE networks.
The 1950 mAh battery completes the package.
The price of the Huawei Ascend G526 is 229 euros: interesting, low-cost, and therefore quite appealing.
