Huawei has introduced a new smartphone, destined to garner widespread approval in the low-cost price segment.
The budget for purchasing the Huawei Ascend Y330 – this is the name of the new device – will be very low, considering the overall good technical features offered.
An ideal gift for youngsters or for those who don’t have particular technical needs beyond basic communication and multimedia without fuss, the Huawei Ascend Y330 runs on Android 4.2.2 and features an internal MediaTek dual-core 1.3 GHz CPU processor.
The RAM is basic, at 512 MB, and the same can be said for the available internal memory, 4 GB but expandable via microSD card up to a maximum of 32 GB.
For a low-end model, the camera is not bad at all, being a 3-megapixel with the capability of recording videos at 720p resolution.
Even the display is adequate, with its 4-inch diagonal and a resolution of 800×480 pixels.
There’s little else to say except that the external appearance is lively and colorful, as the smartphone will be available with a choice of white, black, or the more vibrant blue, red, and yellow shells.
The Huawei Ascend Y330 is priced at just 79 euros and will go on sale in a few days, starting from April.
