The Huawei company is increasingly demonstrating its desire to carve out a prominent role in the crowded smartphone manufacturer landscape, and indeed, it is succeeding.
The new smartphones, in fact, are among the most innovative on the market, among those presented in Barcelona in recent weeks. Among them, here is the Huawei Ascend P1 smartphone, equipped with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and a 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460 Cortex-A9 dual-core processor.
Plenty of power, therefore, sustained without fear by the 1670mAh battery, adequate for this model.
Between technical details and design, let’s look at the screen: it’s a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED touch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass and a 960×540 pixel resolution. All “contained” within a total thickness of 7.69 millimeters.
As for the photographic compartment, there is room for an 8-megapixel main camera and a 1.3-megapixel HD front-facing camera. It’s interesting to note the dual LED flash, a rare option for this smartphone segment.
Connectivity is ensured by support for 3G, WiFi, and Bluetooth technologies, thus enabling swift online sharing, even on the main social networks accessible through the dedicated applications.
When all is said and done, we are at the “younger brother” of the Huawei Ascend P1 S smartphone, which we covered some time ago.
Its arrival in Italy is expected during the month of April, and regarding the price of the Huawei Ascend P1, official confirmation is still pending, but it’s worth noting that it costs around $600 on the US market.
