The release of the smartphone branded Google, manufactured by LG – the Nexus 5 – has garnered positive reviews regarding its core hardware and main functionalities; however, at the same time, some criticisms have emerged, not all of which can be resolved with a system update.
For this reason, the two companies have decided to release a second series of Nexus 5, with some minor aesthetic corrections that clearly have direct consequences on its functional aspects.
Two changes are immediately noticeable: the first relates to the various device buttons, which now appear firmer and more optimized due to increased robustness. The complaint was indeed that they were a bit “wobbly,” not feeling very secure, especially when pressed downwards.
Therefore, here is the change made to the power button and the side buttons for volume adjustment.
The second design variation to the Google and LG smartphone concerns the speakers.
The first version of the Nexus 5 featured audio output holes that users deemed too small, consequently having a detrimental effect on the sound.
Today, the new Nexus 5 features larger holes located on the bottom, thus transmitting cleaner, clearer, and louder notes.
Certainly, the speed with which Google and LG moved to resolve these issues lamented by users is more than appreciable and will benefit those who are currently considering purchasing the device, which, let us recall, offers exceptional value for money.
However, those who immediately purchased the Nexus 5 are unlikely to be able to enjoy any replacement in favor of the new version.
At the moment, in fact, there do not seem to be any official news of this nature.
