Google+, the news: from Eco to Creative Kit

Google+ Eco, Hot Topics, and Creative Kit: these are the new features of Google+ just announced and already implemented within Google’s social network.

Google+ today announces a series of new features to enhance the user experience of Big G’s social network.
While awaiting the opening of business profiles, Google+ continues to focus on users, introducing new functions ranging from control over the path taken by your status updates within one or more circles, to browsing current global trends, as if you had a personal – and personalized – Google News index within Google+.
Let’s proceed in order: the first new feature is called “Hot Topics on Google+” and allows you to “intercept” interesting or at least highly debated content at any given moment, thus moving beyond the mere concept of sharing via circles and instead “fishing” in a much broader pool.
The second new feature is Google+ Eco, a tool useful for tracking the fate of your posts. Currently, this is a beta function that presents, in a graphical format, the success of a posted item, the comments received, and further shares made. To try this function, simply select a personal post of interest and click on “View Eco“.
While these two tools are useful for sharing and maintaining contact with your friends and circles, there are a couple more new tools presented today that fall into a different category.
These are Google+ Creative Kit: which is nothing more than an editor with which you can edit your photos.
The latest new feature is similar to this last one: Google+ Creative Kit Limited-Edition for Halloween. It is therefore possible to work on photos and images by using graphic elements and effects specific to the period.
A contest is currently underway: simply edit one of your photos with this creative kit and post it using the hashtag #gplushalloween to have it evaluated by a jury chosen by Google on November 3rd.
