According to some rumors, the release of the new Google Nexus Tablets is set for the end of June, with particular reference to the 7-inch device.
Several rumors are beginning to emerge regarding the upcoming release of Google Tablets manufactured by Asus for the search engine giant: it seems that the sale date is very close.
The 7-inch Google Nexus Tablets could reach stores and online shops within a couple of weeks, between the end of June and the beginning of July.
The rumor originated from an Asus employee who indicated that the new tablets will be presented soon, at the end of the month: although no specific date was mentioned, it’s reasonable to assume that the opportune moment could be provided by the concurrent Google I/O event, which is always a harbinger of new developments.
Perhaps the stage reserved for the Google developer conference will witness the official presentation of the new Google Nexus tablets. However, it should be noted that there is no confirmation from the Google staff involved in the new tablet project regarding this rumor; in reality, silence prevails on the matter.
It is certainly expected to be an affordable tablet, given that some forecasts speak of a low-cost price around 199 euros: this would be a significant achievement for Google, which would nonetheless offer a product equipped with the latest generation Nvidia Tegra 3 processors and a recent, proprietary operating system.
Fierce competition would arise not only and not solely against Apple’s ever-popular iPad but also against the more accessible Kindle Fire, another dominant player in the tablet sector.
Therefore, all that remains is to wait for June 27th, the start date of Google I/O, to discover if the Google Nexus tablets are indeed ready for sale.
