Google Body Browser is the new Google product that displays the human body in 3D, allowing for minute exploration and information retrieval through an integrated search engine.
The human body will hold no more secrets for laypeople: Google Body Browser is a 3D model that can be viewed and used for free. To draw a parallel and give you an idea, it’s a sort of Google Earth applied to the human organism and can be used with both Mozilla Firefox beta and the new versions of Chrome, namely Chrome 9 (beta), Canary Build, and 9 Dev Channel.
Google’s interest in anatomy should not be surprising: just take a look at the statistics related to searches on the search engine to realize that health topics rank at the top, practically worldwide.
Hence the introduction of Google Body Browser, the 3D human body that can also be used by “isolating” individual systems: there’s the skeletal system, the nervous system, the cardiovascular system, the muscular system, and finally an overview of all organs.
Google Body Browser is easily usable via a bar on the left side of the monitor and, being a browser integration, it does not require any additional software or plugin installation.
