Google Nexus 10: Official Price and Release Date Announced

It’s called Google Nexus 10 and is the new tablet from Google, highly anticipated by Android enthusiasts and those seeking an alternative to more expensive tablets.

Alongside the new LG Nexus 4 smartphone, Google has also announced the release of a tablet, simply named Google Nexus 10.
Its arrival on the American market is expected on November 13, 2012, as well as in France, Germany, Japan, Spain, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
There is no indication yet of a potential launch in Italy, so at least in the initial weeks of distribution, this tablet should not reach the domestic market.
The Google Nexus 10 will feature a 10.1-inch screen with a very high resolution: 2560 x 1600 pixels (with 330 PPI). Truly remarkable, just as the 1.7GHz Exynos 5250 processor with Cortex A15 and Mali T604 GPU is also impressive.
The operating system is the latest: Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, which couldn’t be otherwise for a “Pure Google” product.
Two cameras are included: the rear camera is 5 megapixels, while the front camera – for video calls – is 2 megapixels.

The RAM is 2 GB, while the internal storage is offered in 16 GB or 32 GB options, with no possibility for expansion via microSD card.
To ensure good battery life, a 9000 mAh battery has been chosen, providing approximately 9 hours of continuous use, according to Google staff involved in the project.
The price of the Google Nexus 10 varies with the available storage:

  • Google Nexus 10 16 GB: 399 dollars;
  • Google Nexus 10 32 GB: 499 dollars.
