FujiFilm has announced the development of a new RAW conversion system, “FUJIFILM X RAW STUDIO,” which will enable fast and easy conversion of RAW files with exceptional image quality when a camera is connected via USB cable to a Mac or PC.
The X RAW STUDIO system utilizes the camera’s X Processor Pro instead of the computer’s CPU, ensuring that the exceptional image quality characteristic of Fujifilm cameras is preserved.
Due to the increasing size of RAW files, users have found batch conversion to be cumbersome as it has become increasingly time-consuming. However, by leveraging the high-performance “X Processor Pro,” this batch conversion is now handled much more efficiently.
This new software will be available from late November 2017.
