Fujifilm has launched the Fujifilm FinePix HS50EXR, the top-of-the-line model in the bridge category. Here is its selling price and features.

Among the latest releases from Fujifilm, the FinePix HS50EXR stands at the top of the hypothetical podium for the company’s bridge cameras.
It is indeed a good choice for beginner videographers or for those seeking good quality “contained” within a very manageable and compact body.
The 42x manual zoom is undoubtedly impressive, covering a focal length equivalent to 24-1000 mm.
Autofocus is very fast: it reacts in 0.05 seconds, partly thanks to the promptness of Phase Detection pixels technology, a key element of the 1/2-inch, 16-megapixel EXR CMOS II sensor.
The EXR Processor II then processes the images, with significantly improved performance compared to the previous EXR processor model.

It was said that the new Fujifilm FinePix HS50EXR is also recommended for videographers, and indeed this camera easily and intuitively allows for Full HD (1080p) video recording up to 60 fps, also utilizing a built-in microphone.
Another ally for obtaining good images, while simultaneously monitoring the situation and selecting scenes and functions, is certainly the display: it is a 3-inch, tiltable LCD with a resolution of 920,000 pixels.
Finally, regarding the price of the Fujifilm FinePix HS50EXR, the company recommends 499 euros.
