Facebook Messages Arrives in Italy: @facebook.com Email Ready

Facebook email is also arriving in Italy: Facebook Messages is the novelty that has appeared on some profiles. Here’s how to request an invitation to start using Facebook Messages.

Following the announcement last November about the arrival of Facebook Messages in the United States, the new Facebook email is now arriving in Italy.
Currently, the new option has only appeared on some profiles, but the ability to activate Facebook email will be gradually extended to all users of the social network.
Through an account of the type “username@facebook.com,” various levels of interpersonal communication can be activated: from SMS to email, up to chat. With Facebook Messages, everything will be grouped into a single tool.
It is worth noting the possibility of using Facebook Messages also on smartphones: for once, an update has been made available simultaneously in all contemplated versions.
If it’s true that mobile connections are experiencing exponential growth, it will not be surprising to notice that the email from Facebook sees the disappearance of fields such as the subject and CC: this is precisely due to considering the use of Facebook Messages via mobile phone or smartphone, thus thinking of a leaner graphic interface and a patch of easy-to-use functions, without too many frills.
Email via Facebook Messages will then be sorted into two folders: “Social Inbox,” when communications occur between friends on Facebook; “Other,” when addressing people who are not part of your friend network.
You can check if activation of your @facebook.com account is possible by visiting the official Facebook Messages page and clicking on “Request an invite“.
