Precisely at this moment, it has become known that, with a certain probability, the final release might be further postponed, in favor of a beta 10 that would serve to fix about 160 unresolved bugs.
Firefox 4 beta 9 shows an improvement in speed performance during startup. Additionally, the bookmark system has been made more efficient.
The integration of Firefox 4 beta 9 with HTML 5 has been further refined, thereby pursuing an improvement in the complete multimedia experience.
From Mozilla’s headquarters, testers are requested to collaborate, especially concerning aspects related to potential crashes during hardware acceleration.
For the release of the final version of Firefox 4, the new release date communicated by the Mozilla foundation is by the end of February, barring any hypothetical new critical bugs that would require an additional beta.
