Bip Mobile: remaining credit gone, but new porting begins

While waiting to be able to perform **portability**, many **Bip Mobile** customers are reporting the **disappearance of their remaining credit**.

A new chapter opens in the affairs of Bip Mobile: the virtual mobile operator that suspended service to its customers is once again in the spotlight these hours.
The reason is quickly explained: all those who still have a Bip Mobile SIM, having been unable to port to another mobile provider, are currently reporting that their remaining credit has disappeared.
All available amounts have been zeroed out, and customers still with Bip Mobile are experiencing a new phase of the increasingly difficult journey to completely leave the old provider.
It should be remembered, in fact, that for a few weeks now Bip Mobile has blocked outgoing porting, and therefore today it is estimated that approximately 10,000 people have not yet managed to switch to a new operator, to safeguard their phone number and thus be able to use the line again, albeit under a new signal.
The disappearance of the remaining credit represents a further loss for the unfortunate Bip Mobile customers, given that some active operators have announced they will exceptionally reward Bip customers with available credit (like 3 Italia, for example), provided that it was documentable.

At present, therefore, not only are Bip Mobile customers finding themselves in a limbo created by the block on outgoing porting, but at the same time they find themselves in the situation of having also lost the remaining money on their SIMs, at least based on what can be concluded at this time.
Checking the amounts is simple: to check if you have credit, simply dial the string *131#.
The only good news of these hours – which opens a glimmer of hope for at least a partial conclusion to this unpleasant affair – is an unofficial anticipation that in the coming days it will again be possible to perform porting.
In this regard, communications are expected from AgCom, which will dictate the line to follow.
