Asus Transformer Pad Infinity: Price and Features

Asus Transformer Pad Infinity is one of the new tablets recently unveiled by Asus. It rightfully positions itself in the high-end range, both in terms of price and the features it offers, and is therefore intended for those who seek significant performance in a tablet, in addition to mobile experience. The screen is certainly striking at first glance: it’s a large 10.1-inch Super IPS HD+ display (1920×1200), equipped with Gorilla Glass 2.0 Full HD technology, to resist almost everything. The internal technical specifications vary depending on whether you choose the Wi-Fi only model or the one with an integrated 4G LTE module. In the first case, the chosen processor is an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core; in the second scenario, a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor running at 1.5 GHz has been opted for. Regardless of your choice, nothing changes concerning RAM, which remains 1 GB, and internal storage, available in 16 GB, 32 GB, or 64 GB options. The default operating system is Android 3.2 Gingerbread, but an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will be available soon. Two cameras are available: the main rear-facing camera is 8 megapixels and is accompanied by an LED flash. The second camera is front-facing, useful for video chats, and is 2 megapixels.

The design is elegant and the body is available in two colors: grey or gold, both with a brushed metal finish. The optional keyboard, which can be paired with this tablet, shares the same design. As for the price of the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity, while no official figure has been released by the company itself, it is expected to range between $600 and $800.
