ASUS has unveiled a new tablet, this time specifically targeting professionals: the ASUS Eee Slate B121, based on Windows 7 Professional.
Equipped with productivity tools, it’s designed for full mobile use in content creation and for use almost like a notebook. Indeed, one of its noteworthy features is the implementation of “pen and ink” technology: this system allows users to take notes by writing directly on the 12.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display. This way, the text can be saved as is or converted into a text file.
The chosen processor is an Intel Core i5 at 1.3 GHz, RAM is 4 GB, while storage capacity amounts to 64 GB.
The tablet features a 2.0 Megapixel webcam and, regarding connectivity, it supports 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, and HDMI.
The ASUS Eee Slate B121 is equipped with 2 USB 2.0 ports, a card reader, a 2-in-1 audio jack (headphone and microphone), and 1 mini HDMI port.
