The Asus Memo Pad 10-inch is the new tablet from Asus that focuses on a notable screen, accompanied by a good price. Here are its features.
Asus is also launching a new tablet in Italy, this time with a large format and an affordable, competitive price.
Its name is Asus Memo Pad 10 – precisely because its display is 10 inches – and it features a resolution of 1280×800 pixels.
The native operating system chosen is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, while the processor is a 1.2 GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3: truly impressive. Supporting this is 1 GB of RAM and, regarding internal storage, it starts at 16 GB, expandable via microSD cards and always potentially connectable to the 5 GB of cloud storage from the WebStorage service.
Two cameras are featured on the chassis: the rear one is 5 megapixels, while the front one is 1.2 megapixels, suitable for video chats and calls.
A detail worth noting is its capability to connect to a hypothetical Bluetooth keyboard: in this way, the Asus Memo Pad 10-inch would also become a work tool, convenient and practical, akin to a miniature Transformer Pad.
The price of the Asus Memo Pad 10-inch will be around 299 euros, while the price of the optional keyboard, apparently, will not differ much from 69 euros.
An extra edge for Asus which, with a tablet of this kind, could challenge the Surface tablet, similar in some aspects to this new device.
