A series of tweets can now be consulted even by those who are not registered on Twitter.
New developments on the microblogging platform Twitter, this time interesting not only for subscribers but also for those not registered.
It has in fact become known in recent hours that the development staff has proceeded to make tweets searchable even by those who have never registered for the service.
Until today, in fact, by going to the homepage www.twitter.com, the login or registration mask invited internet users to proceed in one direction or the other to gain access to the content.
Now, however, certain tweets can be read even “from the outside,” so to speak.
For this to happen, it should be noted that it will be necessary to use the web version of Twitter from a smartphone or tablet, meaning the app should not be used.
Furthermore, what will be shown to non-registered users will be a selection of tweets sent by popular people on the platform, presented in chronological order.
In addition to viewing, therefore, the original tweet, it will be possible to follow the flow of any resulting conversation.
It is rather evident and clear that texts or photographic content posted by private accounts will not end up in this sort of public streaming.
This move by Twitter seems quite clear and directed: the aim is most likely to broaden the audience of users – for various reasons – of the social network.
Many new tweet readers, moreover, could potentially become new registrants, to follow conversation flows, to reply, or out of curiosity sparked by viewing – albeit partial and summarized – how Twitter works.
