Which Sony smartphones from the Xperia series will receive the Android 4.3 update? Here is the official list.
Google has announced the development and release of the new operating system update: Android 4.3 Jelly Bean – the name has therefore not been changed – is currently reaching devices in the Nexus series, those – to put it plainly – developed directly by Google.
At the same time, all smartphone and tablet manufacturers are moving to provide, for models where possible, the update to the new version of the operating system characterized by the green robot logo.
Sony is not wasting time in this regard and officially announces the names of the smartphones that will receive Android 4.3, here they are in detail:
- Xperia Z,
- Xperia ZL,
- Xperia ZR,
- Xperia Tablet Z,
- Xperia SP
- Xperia Z Ultra.
The aforementioned devices that may currently be “set” on version 4.1 will not receive 4.2 at all but will pass automatically and directly to Android 4.3.
However, it should be noted that, even though Sony has not wasted time in announcing this information, it is also true that the rollout dates are not yet known.
It is likely that we will have to wait a few weeks, but what is certain is that Sony technicians are already working diligently on it.
