Samsung Smartphone Gamepad: gamepad for Android

Samsung makes a foray into the diverse world of gaming to announce the release of a gamepad: its name is Samsung Smartphone Gamepad.
It is an accessory designed to be compatible with devices running at least Android 4.1, with connection via Bluetooth 3.0.
Actually, there is another way to connect the Samsung Smartphone Gamepad to your smartphone: via NFC technology.
In this second case, owners of enabled Samsung models such as the Note 2 and 3, the Samsung Galaxy S3, and the Samsung Galaxy S4 will benefit from this possibility.
That said, compatibility is guaranteed with any Android device, regardless of the brand, as long as – as already specified – it is version 4.1 or higher.
Another fundamental requirement is the size of the smartphones to connect: The Samsung Smartphone Gamepad can be used by devices with screen sizes ranging from 4 to 6.3 inches.
In fact, this new gamepad resembles a classic PlayStation controller, if we are to draw a comparison. Although in the case of the Samsung device, the front buttons have been moved, rotated. Furthermore, the aesthetic is quite basic, with round buttons without frills or symbols.
The presence of the Play button is noticeable, but it is “reserved” for Samsung smartphone owners: it appears that this way you can access “exclusive” possibilities related to the Samsung world.

Regarding the overall dimensions and weight, from the technical specifications, it is learned that the size is 137.78 x 86.47 x 31.80 millimeters, for a total weight of 195 grams.
It is not yet clear when the Samsung Smartphone Gamepad will arrive in Italy, nor in which markets it will be launched first: its presentation in some European countries is certain, but nothing more has been specified.
Consequently, it is not yet possible to indicate even approximately the price of the Samsung Smartphone Gamepad, which has not been revealed by Samsung.
