Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition on the Horizon

Google has announced its intention to soon launch a smartphone that is not exactly new but, so to speak, renewed: the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition.

There were no new smartphones dominating the spotlight at the Google I/O event; no news emerged from this specific sector regarding the release of a future Nexus. However, Google still surprised everyone, announcing at breakneck speed that the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition is among its upcoming product launch plans.
This is precisely a Samsung Galaxy S4 that will lack the customizations of the Samsung environment and interface.
In effect, therefore, it would be equivalent or almost so to a Nexus smartphone, especially since it has been specified that this new device will receive the same system updates as other Nexus devices directly developed by Google and, furthermore, this will happen simultaneously.
The operating system should be Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and all other technical specifications should remain unchanged compared to the Samsung S4.

Regarding commercialization, it will not rely on carriers or retail chains but will be sold directly through the Google Store.
For this reason, the launch – at least initially – will only take place in the United States, starting from June 26th, at a price of $649.
No information has been released about the potential arrival on the European market, so at the moment, it is not possible to know if this device will ever reach our continent and, if so, at what price.
