Nikon Coolpix S 9300 is one of the latest from Nikon: it is a very compact and slim camera that, however, does not skimp on lens and zoom.
Let’s proceed in order: the first thing to say is that we are facing a 16-megapixel camera, equipped with an 18x NIKKOR lens (25-450 mm).
Furthermore, as is increasingly happening with new releases in the photography field, the Nikon Coolpix S 9300 features an integrated GPS that allows geotagging – and thus geolocating – all photos taken automatically, provided that this specific function is activated.
In this way, the camera will also be able to trace a true route when in motion, thus – for example – recording the story of the journey just completed.
The same applies to Full HD videos, which are sharp, vivid in color, and smooth.
Everything can be controlled, selected, and reviewed on the high-resolution LCD display (921,000 dots) measuring 7.5 centimeters diagonally (or 3 inches), particularly clear thanks to Clear Color technology.
At the heart of all Nikon Coolpix S9300 features is the EXPEED C2 image processing engine which, along with ViewNX 2 software, offers great simplicity and excellent results in shooting and post-editing.
Practical and light, it has a maximum thickness of 30.4 millimeters, with a minimum measurement of only 23 millimeters.
Also regarding the design and appearance, it is already known that this camera will be distributed in black, red, blue, and silver colors. Finally, the price of the Nikon Coolpix S 9300 has not yet been officially announced for Europe but in the United States stands around 349 dollars.
