The new Sony Vaio Z Series notebook is powerful and high-performing, just like a desktop PC. Excellent performance even in multi-screen mode.
Sony has just unveiled a new notebook, suitable for professionals on the go, but also useful for anyone seeking a lightweight yet powerful work tool.
From a purely aesthetic standpoint, which also aligns with functionality, we can observe that the Sony Vaio Z Series features a chassis made of carbon fiber and aluminum: besides the appealing visual impact – also due to the new hexagonal design – this construction ensures great lightness along with robust resistance.
Its weight is just 1.2 kg, with a thickness of less than 17 millimeters: truly minimal, truly manageable.
Sony claims this notebook is currently the fastest among its Vaio lineup, rivaling the performance of a desktop PC.
The chosen processor is a third-generation Intel quad-core, supported by SSD Flash RAID drives.
This is complemented by the ability to navigate at high speeds even when mobile, via 3G.
Colors are beautiful and vibrant, thanks to the bright, anti-glare screen; furthermore, the Power Media Dock system allows for increased graphics power not only for the notebook itself but also for any other connected monitors, without significantly impacting energy consumption.
The price of the Sony Vaio Z Series has not yet been officially announced, while regarding the release date, its arrival in stores is expected on June 11th.
