The new Sony NEX-F3 is a compact camera, characterized by its interchangeable lens system. Here are its technical features.
Sony announces the release of a new compact camera, this time with interchangeable lenses: it’s called Sony “NEX-F3” and the promise is to deliver image quality comparable to a DSLR.
At first glance, one particular feature stands out: this camera is equipped with an LCD screen that can be tilted up to 180 degrees, particularly useful for those who love taking selfies.
Regarding the image sensor, it’s a 16.1-megapixel effective Exmor APS HD CMOS, very bright for both photos and videos: in fact, Full HD footage comes out quite well-detailed with very low noise.
Despite being very manageable and compact in size, this is a camera that performs exceptionally well in situations requiring precision as well as in informal conditions.
Furthermore, the presence of a built-in flash makes it very useful even in closed and dimly lit environments.
As for the lenses, it should be noted that this mirrorless camera is equipped with Clear Image Zoom technology which, while doubling the focal length, manages to maintain the pixel count unchanged, greatly benefiting sharpness and colors.
As a lens, Sony itself pairs and recommends the SEL18200LE E 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 OSS LE, a lightweight telephoto lens with the power of an 11x zoom.
The selling price has not been officially announced, but regarding availability, its arrival is expected during the month of June.
