Google’s Christmas magic: here’s the new version of Google Santa Tracker, to follow Santa Claus.
The Advent season did not catch the Google staff off guard at all; as every year, they have organized special games to offer during this winter period.
In fact, the “Google Santa Tracker” has been launched, with an official website to discover.
There’s something for everyone: from the simple and classic feature that allows you to follow Santa Claus’s movements during his gift delivery, to special activities that can be experienced using augmented reality viewers.
The first new feature for Christmas 2015 relates to the gaming aspect: the video game has been completely renewed, with new challenges and new scenes.
For example, there’s the option to challenge your friends in “Santa Maps Dive,” with skill tests in free-fall gift delivery and subsequent sharing of personal scores.
Furthermore, an animated cartoon video has been created in which you can see Santa Claus still in vacation mode, ready to enjoy some well-deserved relaxation before the super work of the coming weeks.
There are also specific content pieces designed to be best utilized through smartwatches and wearable devices equipped with the Android Wear operating system.
Access to this Christmas content is therefore provided by the official website santatracker.google.com. From here, you will be automatically directed to the virtual Christmas village’s home page, through which you can discover numerous activities, mostly designed for children.
Immediately below, by scrolling down the page, you will find the Advent calendar: each day, therefore, Google will allow access to a new piece of content of various kinds, up to the fateful date of December 24th.
At the bottom of the page, in fact, the Google staff leaves the explicit invitation “Come back on the 24th and help us follow Santa Claus all night long!”, so this is the real Santa Tracker that will be activated – using Google Maps – to follow Santa’s sleigh during the global gift delivery.
A website sure to impress the little ones, but which will undoubtedly entertain the grown-ups too.
