Microsoft Security Essentials 2.0, Microsoft’s Antivirus Free in a New Version

Microsoft announces the release of the final version of Microsoft Security Essentials 2.0, the antivirus and antimalware available for free download.
After the beta version was released, it’s time to move to the next phase. To be honest, while some aspects have been improved (for example, the ability to monitor local networks), version 2.0 has not been significantly modified compared to the beta, being quite similar to the previous antivirus, tested for about a year.
Heuristic techniques are the strong point of Microsoft Security Essentials 2.0, as they allow threats to be detected and remedied more quickly.
According to the launch statements, the product is expected to be stable and reliable.
