LG to Produce the Next Google Nexus: Leaks and Anticipations

It seems that the collaboration between Google and LG is about to bear fruit: the future Google Nexus should be produced by LG.

CNET has released news that is causing a stir among smartphone industry insiders: it appears the new Google Nexus smartphone is about to launch in America.
So far, nothing particularly original or strange.
What is surprising, however, is the anticipation that LG will be the manufacturer of the future Google Nexus.
When thinking of Google devices, the most immediate mental association is with Samsung, HTC, and Asus; now, however, the LG brand seems to be emerging on the horizon.
The possible name of the new device is unknown – perhaps it will be called “LG Optimus Nexus“, but there is no certainty about this – nor is there a confirmed release date, but according to some rumors, it could be a device with a quad-core processor and integrated 4G LTE connectivity.

Modaco adds some technical details, betting on the presence of Android 4.2 operating system – which, honestly, should be the minimum for a Google device – as well as wireless battery charging technology.
Speaking of the battery, its removability is hypothesized: this brings to mind Apple devices, which do not allow the battery to be swapped simply by removing the casing, as is the case with most devices.
Furthermore, the camera should have 8 Megapixels, and the screen could be 4.7 inches with True-HD technology and a resolution of 1280×768 pixels.
Regarding memory, 2 GB of RAM is hypothesized, and two options for internal storage: 8 GB or 16 GB.
Further confirmations are awaited from the companies involved.
