Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch: Price and Features of the New Ultrabook

News from the ultrabook sector from Lenovo: the company has just presented the new ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch. Here’s a summary of its features and price.

In time to become a coveted and exclusive Christmas gift, Lenovo is launching its new ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch.
It is a device belonging to the ultrabook family running on the Windows 8 operating system.
Certainly, at first glance, its multitouch screen catches the eye, a 14-inch HD and 1080p display. The performance, at least on paper, is remarkable, as it is a panel capable of “receiving” commands from up to 10 fingers.
The chassis appears thin, elegant, and seemingly very light, given that the chosen material is carbon fiber.
It seems that the processor that will provide performance to the ultrabook will be an Intel Core i7, with 8 GB of DDR3 RAM support and internal memory likely offered in two capacities: 128 GB or 256 GB.
It should be specified that information on the new Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch is still partial, as the company has not released any press releases but proceeded to publish the relevant technical sheet on its official website.

However, the page was subsequently removed only a few hours later, so it is thought that it will take a few more days for the official presentation.
On the same page, it was also possible to read that availability would be ensured during the month of December, so if the ultrabook were actually in distribution, we will not have to wait more than a few days to find out more.
As for the price of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch, it is around $1100 for the base model.
