Novedades del sector de ultrabooks de Lenovo: la empresa acaba de presentar el nuevo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch. Aquí un resumen de sus características y precio.
Just in time to become a coveted and exclusive Christmas gift, Lenovo launches its new ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch.
It is a device belonging to the family of ultrabooks running on the Windows 8 operating system.
At first glance, its multitouch screen certainly catches the eye, a 14-inch HD and 1080p display. The performance, at least on paper, is remarkable, as it is a panel capable of «receiving» commands from up to 10 fingers.
The chassis appears thin, elegant, apparently very light, as the chosen material is carbon fiber.
It seems that the processor that will provide performance to the ultrabook will be an Intel Core i7, with 8 GB of DDR3 RAM support and internal memory probably offered in two sizes: 128 GB or 256 GB.
Information about the new Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touchis still partial, as the company has not released any press release but has proceeded to publish the relevant technical data sheet on the official website.
However, the page was subsequently removed just a few hours later, so it is thought that it will take a few more days for the official presentation.
On the same page, it was also possible to read that availability would be ensured during the month of December, so if the ultrabook were indeed being distributed, we should not have to wait more than a few days to learn more.
As for the price of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch, it is around $1100 for the base model.
