After discussing the new tablet iPad Air, here’s the latest news regarding the new iPad Mini second generation.
Apple has unveiled its features and its price, which remains quite competitive considering its specifications.
The new iPad Mini second generation features a 7.9-inch Retina Display with 2048×1536 pixels (326 ppi).
In this case as well, the operating system is iOS 7, and the processor is the dual-core A7 64-bit chip.
The camera is a 5-megapixel iSight, and FaceTime HD video calls are possible.
The feature that has undoubtedly seen the most significant enhancement compared to the previous model is connectivity speed, thanks to the new Wi-Fi technology and MIMO antennas. The LTE module capacity has also been enhanced for fast browsing on 4G networks.
However, the fingerprint sensor, a new feature in the latest devices released by Apple in recent weeks, is not included.
A precise release date for the mini tablet is not yet available, as Apple has only announced that it will be available approximately starting in November.
