Photos taken and posted on Instagram will not be powered by filters alone: many new features are arriving in these hours with the latest update – version 6.0 – of the increasingly popular app.
For those who were waiting for an easier way to edit their images, so as to improve their appearance before putting them into the vast sea of Instagram, the development team offers new tools to edit photos directly through Instagram immediately after taking them.
In fact, a new set of options is available that allow you to modulate the intensity of applicable filters, adjust contrast, add more or less brightness, establish shadows, use vignettes, and so on.
A real editing center incorporated into Instagram, designed for both Android and iOS.
All with extreme simplicity, without major maneuvers or complex paths to apply new effects.
The update was indeed designed and implemented in such a way that you can act with a few screen taps, on horizontal bars with indicators to slide left or right, depending on the intensity you wish to apply through the specific chosen tool.
In total, there are ten new ways to act directly on your photos to send via the app, but Peter Deng from the Instagram staff reveals, without very specific references, that very soon there will be further updates: paving the way for other innovations, all to the benefit of the large crowd of users who in past months have requested more editing possibilities for their images.
